After a 10-year hiatus, Capcom finally decided to bring back one of their most iconic franchises and
Devil May Cry 5 will finally have players slaying demons when the game releases for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on the 8th of March.
Because Capcom took their sweet time making a new entry in the
Devil May Cry series, players may want a refresher that helps them get right back into the hack and slash goodness the series is known for. The
Devil May Cry Collection HD that released back in March is also a great way to get you started, but if you haven't played it yet Capcom has got you covered as they have included a new training mode in
Devil May Cry 5 that will help you hone those skills in style.
The Void is
Devil May Cry 5's new Training Mode, which will definitely help players get used to the game's controls. This mode comes with a few options that will let players practice to their heart's content like turning the enemy's damage off, which helps players practice combos for prolongued periods of time. Turning damage on, however, is also helpful as it allows players to see how much damage specific moves, or combos, inflict enemies.
The game will also allow players to use Devil Breakers without losing them by turning on Unlimited Devil Breakers. Not only that but there will also be different devil breaker loadouts that players can preset, players can even switch between them on the fly.
The latest video released for
Devil May Cry 5 has the game's producer and director, Matt Walker and Hideaki Itsuno respectively, showing off some of the options that players can expect to find in 'The Void', as well as a first look at some of the Devil Breakers Nero can equip in the game.
Take a look:
A new demonic invasion has begun with the seeds of a demon tree being sown in Red Grave City. Now fully equipped with his trusty Red Queen and Blue Rose, and a new arsenal of rad robot hands thanks to his partner Nico, Nero must rise up to this new impossible task. With such insane amount of energy and destruction emanating from this surprise invasion, the stage is now set for the latest chapter of the “Sons of Sparda” saga.
Devil May Cry 5 will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on the 8th of March in 2019.
