The Last of Us Part II still has a long way to come as it doesn't even have a specified release date yet, but it looks like Naughty Dog is already thinking about the future and the next projects after TLoUP2's release. We know that the acclaimed studio is involved in the development of Sony and Columbia Pictures' Uncharted movie (starring Tom Holland), but Dogs may be currently working on a new game.
According to a rumor that spawned from SuperBroMovies' Daniel RPK, Naughty Dog are working on yet to be announced project they are currently casting in LA. The fact that they are organizing the casting in LA shouldn't be surprising as the beloved studio is based in Santa Monica, California. What's way more intriguing is the fact that the studio confirmed that Uncharted 4 was the end of Drake's journey.
There are at least three options regarding this mysterious title. First, it can be a new Uncharted game with a brand new protagonist. Second, it may be a new Crash Bandicoot game but it's highly unlikely as the recent remaster of the first three Crash games was designed by Vicarious Visions. There's also the third option - a brand new franchise, and to be honest - I think it's the most exciting option.
In The Last of Us Part II, Ellie is now 19 and has found a semblance of peace and normality living in Jackson. She’s had a chance to be a teenager and forge lasting relationships. When that peace is disrupted by a violent act, Ellie is thrust into a brutal journey of retribution, fueled by a need to bring those that have wronged her to justice, pushing her to her very limits.
