On the 19th of September, Sony surprised us all with the announcement that a
PlayStation Classic was coming its way and would be available on the
3rd of December. This console is a miniature version of the original Sony PlayStation, and was revealed to include 20 pre-loaded games.
Much like the
Nintendo Classic Mini and
Super Nintendo Classic Edition, the
PlayStation Classic is catering to our nostalgia by bringing us some of the best-selling classic titles the original PlayStation had to offer. With the announcement, Sony revealed only but a bunch of titles that would be included with the system, but they did not reveal the official list until now.
Today, Sony has released a new trailer for the
PlayStation Classic, revealing the full game list that the mini version of the original console will be bundled with. While the list may be somewhat lacking, since it definitely could've included a few more heavy hitters; especially 3D fighting games, the list is pretty decent; and it does feature a few all-time classics like the original
Grand Theft Auto,
Final Fantasy VII, and
Metal Gear Solid.
-Battle Arena Toshinden
-Cool Boarders 2
-Destruction Derby
-Final Fantasy VII
-Grand Theft Auto
-Intelligent Qube
-Jumping Flash
-Metal Gear Solid
-Mr. Driller
-Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee
-R4 Ridge Racer Type 4
-Rayman
-Resident Evil: Director's Cut
-Revelations: Persona
