This PlayStation 5 Controller Reveal Video Is Fan-Made But It's So Good That It Might As Well Be Official

Over the past couple of months, Sony PlayStation has been officially revealing information about their highly-anticipated, next-generation video game console. The PlayStation 5 is set to arrive in Holiday 2020 — alongside the Xbox Series X — and bring with it the next generation of DualShock controllers.

The DualShock 5 will include just as many new features as the PlayStation 5 console itself. The controller will make use of new haptic feedback rather than traditional rumble technology and feature adaptive triggers — meaning that developers can program a varying degree of resistance into the L2 and R2 buttons. The battery life has been improved and it will be charged via a USB Type-C connector.

We're familiar with more features than those that Sony has officially annouced, though. Last year, Sony filed for a couple of patents to do with the DualShock 5. It seems there will be two additional buttons on the back of the controller.

Recently, a talented individual named Giuseppe Spinelli released a video which serves as a fake DualShock 5 reveal trailer. However, it isn't meant to fool people into think it's legitimate but rather serve as a mock-up of what the final product will most likely end up looking like. As you can see, they've taken into account many of the aforementioned and rumoured features.
