Netflix has finally announced the premiere date for Arcane Season 2. The highly anticipated animated series will return for its second and final season on November 9th.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to binge it all in one go as the season will be split into three acts released weekly. Act 1 will premiere on November 9th, followed by Act 2 on November 16th and Act 3 on November 23rd.

Netflix has not yet announced how many episodes will be in Season 2 or how many will be featured in each act. Season 1 of the hit animated series consisted of nine episodes, divided into three acts as well. But unlike the upcoming season, all of the episodes were released at once. It's unclear why Netflix is making us wait weekly.

Accompanying the premiere date was a new adrenaline-fueled teaser trailer. The clip, titled "Nothing to Lose," showcases Vi in some sort of underground fight club. Apparently, Vi is going through some stuff, spending her evenings drinking at the bar and brawling in the pit.

I'm going to guess based on the title of the clip that she's having a hard time dealing with the fact that her younger sister became a raging psychopath that blew up the council, sparking a war between Piltover and Zaun.

It's a wild two minutes, full of energy and pure chaos. If this is a taste of what's to come in Arcane Season 2, then we are in for a wild ride. Once the boxing montage ends, we get a bit more of a formal trailer teasing the storyline for Season 2.

Although Season 2 will serve as the finale to Arcane, Riot Games has already confirmed this is not the end of stories inspired by League of Legends.

“Arcane is just the beginning of our larger storytelling journey and partnership with the wonderful animation studio that is Fortiche," Linke said during a previous developer update. "From the very beginning, since we started working on this project, we had a very specific ending in mind, which means the story of Arcane wraps up with this second season. But Arcane is just the first of many stories that we want to tell in Runeterra.”

We don't know what will come next, but it will be hard to top Arcane. The first season was an absolute smash hit for Netflix, releasing to widespread acclaim from critics and fans. The series — praised for its animation, storytelling, worldbuilding, and action sequences — received a perfect 100% among critics on Rotten Tomatoes and a 96% Audience Score.

Arcane tells the origin story of two iconic League of Legends champions, who just so happen to be sisters. Jinx (Ella Purnell) — also known as Powder — and Vi (Hailee Steinfeld) find themselves on rival sides of a brewing war between the utopian city Piltover and its oppressed underbelly Zaun. Powder and Vi are completely transformed by the end of the first season, as Powder becomes the mischievous Jinx and Vi proves she’s one champion you don’t want to mess with.

Arcane Season 2, Act 1 premieres on November 9, only on Netflix.
