Sonic Mania Adventures' Production Manager recently made an Instagram post chronicling her visit to the SEGA studio. The photos were captioned with confirmation that SEGA are developing a new animated series based on the world's fastest hedgehog.

The post itself has since been altered as to cover-up the unfortunate mishap on the Production Manager's part but fortunately for us, and unfortunately for SEGA, fans were able to snap a screenshot of the original caption before it was changed.

The Instagram post now reads as such: “Gotta go fast, gotta make it last — finally swung around the SEGA office," whereas, before it was altered, it went on to say: "as we’re working on another fun series with the blue hedgehog… y’all are gonna love it." Click here to see the screenshot, of the original caption, for yourself.

As you can see, the post contains multiple hashtags referencing Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, and intriguingly Amy. This has led many to believe that the secretive animated series will prominently feature those particular members of Sonic's anthropomorphic-animal crew.

What do you think about the leak? Would you like to see a new animated series from SEGA based on their most well-known property?
