Man of Steel and Mission: Impossible - Fallout star Henry Cavill is officially set to play Geralt of Rivia in Netflix's live-action The Witcher series — a casting decision that made many fans even more excited for the project.

However, despite most fans being onboard with the casting choice, there were some detractors, and now Doug Cockle, who voiced the character in the beloved video game trilogy, has weighed in on the subject.

Based on the response from Cockle, it's clear that the Superman actor has another supporter, as the famous voice of Geralt believes Cavill "will do a great job" and says he can't wait to see what the Netflix show does with The Witcher property.
