The Tomb Raider franchise celebrates its 28th anniversary this month, and to mark the occasion, remasters of Tomb Raider IV through Tomb Raider VI have been announced.

Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics have announced Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, a three-game bundle featuring Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation (1999), Tomb Raider: Chronicles (2000), and Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness (2003). Each has updated visuals (which can be toggled off if you prefer the original graphics), modern control settings, Trophies and Achievements, and a photo mode. The $30 bundle launches on February 14, 2025 for Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

The month is commencing with the series' 28-year anniversary of the Tomb Raider series. The big birthday is due for a special surprise from Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics to their fans in the form of remasters of Tomb Raider IV through Tomb Raider VI. Relive classic Lara Croft adventures as never before!

The three-game package known as the Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered bundle includes the following: 1999's Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, 2000's Tomb Raider: Chronicles, and 2003's Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness. All three have been lovingly updated with modern visuals, should one choose to do so-there is an option to toggle them off if you want the original graphics. The bundle also comes with modern control settings, Trophies and Achievements, and a photo mode to capture those breathtaking moments. This awesome package will finally arrive on February 14, 2025, for Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, and it's reasonably set at a price of just $30.

This new remaster package serves as a sequel to the highly successful Tomb Raider I-III Remastered package that made its way out earlier this year. It is very obvious that the series is very much alive and kicking, with this latest announcement being the proof the world needs.

But that is not all, since the series of Tomb Raider reached another fantastic milestone: it sold over 100 million copies since it first appeared in 1996! With such results, this franchise entered a category of gaming giants, such as Grand Theft Auto, The Legend of Zelda, Resident Evil, The Sims, Final Fantasy, and Mario. Reaching such a milestone definitely proves that this franchise can be influential across generations in the world of gaming.

While celebrating such a milestone, it is stirring to think of the times that lie ahead concerning Tomb Raider. With the release of these remasters adding to the success of the franchise, one can know there is still so much more to come with the adventures of Lara Croft that make one thrilled and inspired to game on.
