Though many are under the impression that the next instalment in the Call of Duty series will be revealed at next month's E3 event, there have been rumours that the game will be revealed before then and weirdly titled: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

According to numerous reports, from the likes of Eurogamer and more reputable outlets, 2019's Call of Duty will be revealed on May 30th.

This has all but been officially confirmed as the first-person-shooter series' social media accounts have all gone dark, removing their profile picture, banner, and even stating as such in their bio. Take their Twitter account (@CallofDuty) for example, which you can visit by clicking here.

Given the afformentioned rumours; we're expecting that, come May 30th, the banner will change from being all black to something to do with the next instalment. It's likely that the game itself will be revealed in two days time, but E3 will house a further breakdown of the upcoming game.
