Motion Twin's
Dead Cells is a roguelike game that garnered a lot of attention due to its engaging gameplay and fantastic level design; which is something that fans of the Metroidvania genre always appreciate.
The game has been doing so well, in fact, that just a few days ago Motion Twin — the game's developer — revealed that
Dead Cells had managed to sell an impressive 1 million copies since its launch; with the game selling a lot better on the Nintendo Switch.
A couple of weeks ago,
Motion Twin also gave us an official release date for Rise of the Giant — a free update that includes two new levels, as well as new bosses — which will become available on Thursday the
28th of March.
As we draw closer to th
Rise of the Giant's release, Motion Twin has released a brand-new animated trailer that shows us the Prisoner,
Dead Cell's main character, fighting some of the new bosses in some oddly hilarious fashion.

Dead Cells is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam.
