Last month Playtonic announced that they had secured a release date for
Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, a brand-new title that would see the duo going on a 2D platforming adventure, that would see the game
releasing at a yet-to-be-determined date in October.
While the developer still hasn't revealed exactly when in October the game will be releasing, it seems that Nintendo has unofficially confirmed the date — which would see
Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair launching on the
8th of October.
The information can be seen on the European Nintendo Swtich eShop, where
Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is listed for an early October release.
While this would confirm that the Nintendo Switch version of the game is releasing early in October, it may not necessarily mean that
Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair will also releasing for other platforms on the same day — although the game releasing on every platform on the same day is more than likely.
