A few days ago Team17 released a gameplay trailer for
Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, showing off the new alternate level states that players could access through the game's 3D overworld — and fans didn't respond that well to the trailer.
The reason why there was such a "controversy" amongst fans of the
Yooka-Laylee series, was the fact that the trailer was in 30fps(no, seriously) and they worried that the game's framerate may have been lowered from 60 to 30fps.
Well, Team17 has released the same trailer for
Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, only this time the trailer is in a buttery smooth 60 frames per second; giving fans that stable 60fps that even the reveal trailer featured.
Playtonic has also reassured that
Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair will run at 60fps on the Nintendo Switch; guaranteeing that the game will offer the same experience accross all of the available platforms.
