Niantic's wildly popular mobile game, Pokémon Go, has announced that they will be returning a legendary from Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, the Eon Pokémon, Latias.

Latias was introduced in Pokémon Go alongside Latios, it's twin, last May. This time, it will be returning on it's own however, and it will be the star of a special weekend Raid Event. Between February 22 - 25th, the Legendary Pokémon will be making it's appearances in Raid Battles everywhere, giving Trainers another chance to capture one.

In addition, there will also be a chance for Trainers to stumble upon a shiny version of the Pokémon, which was previously unavailable. Also, Clamperl Research Tasks will be happening Saturday during a special three hour event which we previously reported.

Will you be heading out to capture a shiny version of Latias?
