The video game icon is known for his speed, but we've known for a while that Paramount's Sonic the Hedgehog won't be racing into theaters until the end of next year. However, the forthcoming video game adaptation will now be arriving a bit sooner.
Paramount recently revealed that their 2019 release schedule had undergone a number of changes, and among the many features to experience a shift in dates, is Sonic the Hedgehog, which will now arrive on November 8, 2019.
The video game movie was initially set to release on November 15, so it's not a radical change, but anxious fans will undoubtedly be a bit happy to learn that the film will come out one week earlier.
Sonic the Hedgehog will be directed by Jeff Fowler and stars Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation) as the titular character.
