If you got hooked on, arcade-game characters, Ralph and Vanellope back in February of 2013 and have been following the Wreck-It Ralph franchise since, then you know that the highly-anticipated sequel had its release date changed a while back. Emphasis on the "a while back" as Ralph Breaks The Internet, or as it was simply titled at the time Wreck-It Ralph 2, was originally planned to release in March of this year. It was delayed by a whole eight months.

Clark Spencer, a producer of Ralph Breaks The Internet, recently spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about the delay - explained the thoughtful reasoning behind it: "You get to that place where you realize the story isn’t quite where you want it to be, and then we need to figure out how do you do the right thing, which
is not release a movie just because you have to release it, but wait until it’s as good as it can be."

Thankfully, now it's only two weeks away, however the November 21st release date didn't originally belong to Ralph Breaks The Internet. Instead, an animated retelling of the fairytale "Jack and the Beanstalk," titled Disney's Gigantic, had the date - but was pushed back and now has unfortunately been cancelled altogether.

What do you think about the reasoning for the delay? Are you looking forward to Ralph Breaks The Internet?
