With Marvel Studios recently moving Avengers: Infinity War up a week, it wouldn't be a stretch to assume that Warner Bros.' Rampage will be one of the many box office casualties when the Marvel juggernaut takes over movie theaters worldwide.
There's still well over a month to move the film up a week or two, but as of this posting, the Dwayne Johnson-starrer will open in several international markets on April 13th before making its worldwide debut on April 20th, which is also when it's set to launch in the United States.
The Rock debuted a brand new poster this morning, offering our best look at the three mutated monsters he'll be trying to contain in the upcoming video game movie adaptation. Check out the new poster below:
Primatologist Davis Okoye (Johnson), a man who keeps people at a distance, shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry mutates this gentle ape into a raging creature of enormous size. To make matters worse, it’s soon discovered there are other similarly altered animals. As these newly created alpha predators tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend.
