Rampage releases in theaters this Friday, pitting Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson against a trio of monsters attempting to destroy Chicago, including his ape friend George, a flying wolf by the name of Ralph, and an alligator who called Lizzie.

However, just because Rampage is arriving in a new medium doesn’t mean that fans have forgotten about the old-school 80s arcade games, of which the film is based on. The original Rampage got its start in the arcades in the 1980s and 90s, with the gameplay consisting of taking control of different monsters and trashing your way through cities, eating citizens and destroying all sorts of enemies.

Apparently Funko remembers the old games, as the company is preparing to release a three-pack of special 8-bit Funko Pops featuring the monsters from the game. They will apparently sell exclusively through Walmart. The three-pack will release this May, and will feature George, Lizzie and Ralph in a style rarely seen from Funko - More 8-bit and pixelated than their usual look or the new movie's adapted appearances.

The set hasn’t been assigned an official price just yet, nor a specific release date, but it’s speculated to sell for around $34.99-$39.99 sometime in the midst of May.

What do you think about these cool new designs from Funko? Will you be picking up the three-pack once it becomes available?
