After the release of
Red Dead Redeption 2's third (and pretty good) trailer, Rockstar Games said that they would post new screenshots from the game over the official social media channels and they just kept their word. The images were posted on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook and to let you wonder at the beauty of Rockstar's newest game, we have them all gathered in one article here.
The screenshots below show our protagonist Arthur Morgan, the Van der Linde gang,
Red Dead Redemption protagonist John Marston, gun fights, landmarks, horses, environments, and more. Alongside the new screenshots, Rockstar also teased that more information about
RDR2, including details about special editions, will be revealed next month, possibly at the upcoming E3 in LA.
These pictures will help you to see the difference between the first
Red Dead Redemption which debuted in 2010 and
Red Dead Redemption 2. It's shocking how good the game looks, considering that it's an open-world project (which are usually way more complicated than other genres) and hopefully, it will still be visually pleasing on our console systems, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Check out a bunch of hi-res screenshots from Rockstar Games'
Red Dead Redemption 2 down below:
America, 1899. The end of the wild west era has begun as lawmen hunt down the last remaining outlaw gangs. Those who will not surrender or succumb are killed. After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive. As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available on October 26, 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
