Rockstar Games'
Red Dead Redemption 2 will be hitting store shelves next week, and the game will finally become available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players on the
26th of October, in what seems an eternity after being delayed in 2017.
With Arthur Morgan as the game's new protagonist,
Red Dead Redemption 2 is not only introducing us to new characters but is also allowing players to fully customise and upgrade their arsenal of weapons. Holsters will also need to be upgraded in order to keep your weapons in tiptop condition; preventing these weapons from degradation.
The story in
Red Dead Redemption 2 will not be taking the back seat, since it has been revealed that the game offers a 65-hour experience from beginning to finish; this obviously only including the Single-player campaign. Multiplayer gameplay is also to be expected in the form of Red Dead Online, although Rockstar Games has mentioned that it will not be ready at launch.
Rockstar games has released the launch trailer for the long-awaited
Red Dead Redemption 2, ahead of the game's release, and players will be transported to a North America at the dawn of the modern age. Pre-orders for the game are also now available, and will include the War Horse and Outlaw Survival Kit. Additional bonuses, and content can also be found in the Special Edition and Ultimate Edition.
Take a look:
America, 1899. The end of the wild west era has begun as lawmen hunt down the last remaining outlaw gangs. Those who will not surrender or succumb are killed. After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on the 26th of October.
