Just like Agent 47's last outing,
Hitman 2 will be a global adventure, allowing gamers to kill targets all around the world, from Colombia, New Zealand, Miami, North Atlantic, Mumbai, to one American suburban location. IO promises to deliver a true sandbox experience, as the Miami level displays nearly 2,000 NPCs at once. Considering
Hitman 2's scope, those levels are basically mini-campaigns.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released a new
Hitman 2 trailer that focuses on six diverse locations, new multiplayer modes, and tons of gameplay upgrades. The new online mode titled Sniper Assassin brings co-op to the series for the first time, as two players will team up for long-ranged sniper-based missions to eliminate targets from afar, including a digital version of Sean Bean.
The development stage of
Hitman 2 has ended, as the game has officially gone gold and it looks like nothing will stop Agent 47 from hitting stores.
Hitman 2 brings some new features to the old formula, introducing more adept combat AI, a new mini-map, security camera grids, picture-in-picture replays, and even mirrors that “work like mirrors." Be sure to check out the short "perfected" trailer below:
