IO Interactive has announced that
Hitman 2 has gone gold ahead of its November 13 release date, meaning that the development cycle has been completed, the game is finished and ready to be shipped across the world. Unlike the first game,
Hitman 2 is a standard release that won't be divided into episodes like the
Hitman reboot as you will have a chance to buy it in a bundle from the beginning.
The sequel will be a global adventure, allowing gamers to kill targets all around the world, from Colombia, New Zealand, Miami, North Atlantic, Mumbai, to one extra US location titled Skunk.
Hitman 2 will also be introducing a brand new mode called
Sniper Assassin, which will give you a unique chance to compete and team-up with other players to take down specified targets together.
The latest
Hitman 2 trailer is focused on Agent 47's iconic briefcase. According to the developer, the “new and improved” briefcase can now be used to knock the opposition unconscious or even distract observers, and there will surely be a lot of observers to distract as
Hitman 2's engine is capable of displaying nearly 2,000 NPCs at once. Be sure to check out
Hitman 2's dead good trailer down below:
