As with the first Evil Within survivial horror game, Tango Gameworks created the sequel and Bethesda will handle distribution.  In The Evil Within 2, the game picks up three years after the events of the first game and features original protagonist, police detective Sebastian Castellanos returning to STEM to rescue his previously-thought dead daughter.

Tango Gameworks and Bethesda were unable to keep the sequel's existence a secreat as a job listing spilled the beans back in March.

The game will be released on October 13 (Friday the 13th), 2017.
