Nintendo Switch owners have been getting a lot of love from Capcom, as the developer has been slowly releasing the the first titles in their beat 'em up
Devil May Cry series; with the first two games already available for players to download from the Nintendo Switch eShop.
Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition for the Nintendo Switch is also releasing soon, although this version is not the same version that most players remember playing — as the game's producer
Matt Walker recently revealed on a post made on Twitter.
This brand-new feature, which is exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version of the game, is called Free Style — and it allows players to switch between the game's different styles at any given point. Many players will remember that changing styles can only be done at checkpoints.
Today, Capcom has shared a gameplay video that gives us a good idea of how versatile combat can be with this new Free Style mode; making
Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition a whole lot more dynamic than it already was.
Check it out:
Devil May Cry 3 takes place before the events of the first game. In this installment, you can choose different combat Styles like Swordmaster and Gunslinger, and it's up to you which Style you decide to develop and improve on. This game also contains the Special Edition features that let you play as Dante's brother Vergil.
Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition will be available for the Nintendo Switch on the 20th of February.
