We have some great news for fans of the popular Sam & Max series, as the Freelance Police is ready to make a long-awaited comeback in the form of a remaster that has been revealed to release as soon as next month.
Sam & Max Save the World Remastered is, as the name very appropriately suggests, a remade version of the classic Sam & Max Save the World developed by renowened studio Telltale Games, which was released all the way back in 2006 for a variety of platforms.
According to the official announcement made by Skunkape, which is a new studio comprised of developers that worked on the original game, Sam & Max Save the World Remastered will release for the Nintendo Switch and PC(Steam, GOG) on Wednesday the 2nd of December.
As it is expected from any self-respecting remaster — and this game will not be the exception to the rule — Sam & Max Save the World Remastered will feature enhanced graphics that will take full advantage of the power of the platforms for which the game has been announced.
Sam & Max Save the World Remastered will now support for widescreen, allow for the use of a gamepad, and will even include five new musical tracks to give fans of the original a little something to sink their teeth into extra. Everything else has remained intact, so players should expect the same top-quality writing and game design seen in the original Sam & Max Save the World.
The developer also mentions that pre-orders for Sam & Max Save the World Remastered are currently open via the game's official website, which you can easily visit by clicking right here.
