Bandai Namco has officially announced that the registration/sign up phase for the
Dragon Ball FighterZ closed beta has been delayed almost a month due to interest in the game. The anticipation for Dragon Ball FighterZ has been growing ever since the game was announced earlier this year at E3. With the buzz surrounding the game, Bandai Namco felt that it would be better if they took a step back and grow the closed beta to accomidate more players. Through the official Bandai Namco tumblr account they noted:
"Due to the volume of excitement and enthusiasm surrounding this announcement, we have decided to expand the capacity of the closed beta in an effort to enable more players to participate in the program."
Due to the potential interest in the game,
Bandai Namco also stated that they will be "bolstering their background programs" to make sure that the entire close beta process goes off without kinks. It is great to see developers change plans when they see an opportunity to make the game better. All in all a great move by
Bandai Namco!
Dragon Ball FighterZ closed beta sign ups were supposed to begin today, but now it has been pushed to August 22nd, with the beta beginning in September. Let us know what you think about the announcement in the usual place and be sure check out the announcement trailer and game description below!
