A scan from the Japanese manga magazine V-Jump has revealed that Krillin and Piccolo will round out the 9 playable characters for th Dragon Ball FighterZ Closed Beta rolling out in August.  Registration for the Beta begins on July 26.

The second strongest Turtle School warrior and the Super Namek join a previously announced Beta roster of Goku, Vegeta, Future Trunks, Teen Gohan, Cell, Frieza and Fat Buu.

Developers from ArcSystem Works have previously stated that the Beta represents about 20% of the finished game so expect a lot more fighters to be announced before the game's official launch in early-2018. Hopefully, the Turtle School sensei Master Roshi makes the final cut.
