CAPCOM's Monster Hunter franchise has become one of the biggest selling game series in years, and a lot of that is due in part to the massive amounts of flexibility in playstyle. In the world of Monster Hunter, the player IS the character, and the adventures are their own. Each monster offers a unique and difficult challenge that feels so satisfying once completed.
The most recent release in the series has been Monster Hunter World, which has become the highest-selling game in the series and the highest selling title for the PS4! After all of that success, it should be time to stop, right?; wrong! Capcom is now bringing the fun of the franchise to the Nintendo Switch with Monster Hunter: Rise!
Rise offers some new and exciting features found only in this game, including a new village themed entirely after ninjas, a new way to get around with the wirebug, and of course, some new monsters! Customization is also taking center stage with the release of a new video that highlights the customization of the player's character, Palico cat, and the new pet called a Palamute!
With co-op still an option, the adventures can continue to be share with friends. We would love to hear your thoughts on the new game and customization in the usual spot!
Set in the ninja-inspired land of Kamura Village, explore lush ecosystems and battle fearsome monsters to become the ultimate hunter. It’s been half a century since the last calamity struck, but a terrifying new monster has reared its head and threatens to plunge the land into chaos once again.
Monster Hunter: Rise is coming to the Nintendo Switch on March 26th next year! Pre-orders can be found right here!
