Earlier this month NetherRealm Studios released a fantastic story trailer for the highly anticipated
Mortal Kombat 11, giving us a better idea of what to expect when it comes to the game's main plot.
The trailer also, unofficially, revealed a bunch of characters, both new and old, that will also be joining
Mortal Kombat 11's already generous roster of playable characters — including Erron Black, Cassie Cage, and Kotal Kahn, as well as past iterations of some characters from the
Mortal Kombat series.
During today's
Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Kast, NetherRealm Studios officially revealed Kotal Kahn — Emperor of Outworld — as on of the new fighters in
Mortal Kombat 11 and, oddly enough, he doesn't even win in his own reveal trailer; being completely overpowered by Jacqui Briggs, who is also being somewhat officially revealed in this trailer.
Be sure to check out the reveal trailer, as well as the
Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Kast, where you can watch even more gameplay footage of Kotal Kahn, down below:
The all new Custom Character Variations give you unprecedented control to customize the fighters and make them your own. The new graphics engine showcasing every skull-shattering, eye-popping moment, brings you so close to the fight you can feel it. And featuring a roster of new and returning Klassic Fighters, Mortal Kombat’s best in class cinematic story mode continues the epic saga over 25 years in the making.
Mortal Kombat 11 will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on the 23rd of April.
Nintendo Switch version will release on the 10th of May.
