NetherRealm and Warner Bros. will showcase the first look at gameplay for
Mortal Kombat 11 today at 1:30 pm ET during the official reveal event in Los Angeles. The title was officially announced a month ago at The Game Award 2018 with a shockingly graphic cinematic trailer that was focused on Raiden's uneven battle against two equally deadly Scorpions that didn’t end well for the electrifying hero.
The Chicago-based studio has released two new images that spotlight Scorpion’s in-game model. While the vastly popular character already looks quite good, you won't be force to use it, as NetherRealm has taken a closer look at their latest game,
Injustice 2, and its impressively advanced customization system, with clothes, accessories and move sets never seen in a
Mortal Kombat game before.
During today's event, fans can expect to learn a whole lot more about many of
Mortal Kombat 11's newest features (powered by a completely new game engine), returning characters and newcomers, maybe even post-launch support (with the rumored inclusion of Todd McFarlane's comic anti-hero
Spawn), and more. In the meantime, be sure to check out the latest
MK11 artwork down below:
