Bandai Namco's
SoulCalibur VI boasts a roster mostly made up of returning characters, as well as a few new original additions. The series is also known for having guest characters from popular series by other developers, having featured from
The Legend of Zelda's Link, to
God of War's Kratos, and even
Star Wars' Darth Vader.
SoulCalibur VI has already revealed that the first character to be introduced as a guest fighter would be none other than Geralt of Rivia from
The Witcher series, and we now have confirmation that the next character hails from a new IP by Square Enix .
Square Enix and Bandai Namco will be working together, yet again, as they bring us
NieR: Automata's 2B to join the fight in
SoulCalibur VI. The two companies have previously had characters from the
Final Fantasy series crossing over with the
Tekken series when Noctis Lucis Caelum joined the
Tekken 7 roster.
NieR: Automata's YoRHa No. 2 Type B, 2B for short, will not only be joining the roster but she will also come with her very own stage and background music to match. She'll also come armed with her Virtuous Contract and Virtuous Treaty dual blades, making her the perfect character to join the iconic sword-fighting series. Bandai Namco failed to tell us when this character will become available, however, but it will likely be revealed soon.
