Bandai Namco has announced that
SoulCalibur VI's downloadable content character 2B will launch on December 18th, joining the already established roster of unique characters that also feature
The Witcher: Wild Hunt's Geralt of Rivia. The 2B character pack, which is included with the game’s Season Pass, will also contain an extra costume for 2B, 2B-themed extra parts and stickers, additional weapons for 2B,
NieR: Automata-themed background music, and a special
NieR: Automata-themed stage.
The publisher has also shared a bunch of new
SoulCalibur VI screenshots that are focused on 2B. In the stylish
NieR universe, 2B is an android created to battle the machine lifeforms that have invaded the planet on behalf of the surviving humans. Fans of the PlatinumGames-created world should be happy to see that Bandai's recreation of the character in
SoulCalibur VI is faithful to the source material.
It's not the first time Bandai Namco is cooperating with Square Enix, as the two companies have previously had characters from the
Final Fantasy series crossing over with another fighting franchise,
Tekken, when Noctis Lucis Caelum joined the
Tekken 7 roster. Be sure to take a look at
SoulCalibur VI's version of
NieR: Automata's 2B is the recently released screenshots and trailer down below:
