*Still wants it for Xbone*
........thanks again Capcom, you really are the worst
Does it stink that the game is only on Playstation 4 and PC, absolutely yes! If Capcom wanted to maximize their following, multi-platform (Xbox) was necessary, but in the end PS4 has control of Street Fighter V.
I cannot believe that Capcom is getting a pass for releasing an incomplete game. They have a predilection for making questionable decisions at the consumer’s expense, but this feels weird even by Capcom’s shady standards. Why not delay the game an additional month to launch it with the core features that are missing from this release?
Yes, this comment rips SFV to shreds, and there is good reason for it. For those who are avid fighting game players (like the comment below) know exactly what they're getting because they're in the games Alphas and Betas. For the rest who don't really play it appears like and unfinished game. There is nothing more infuriating than and unpolished game.
Does it suck that the game is barebones? absolutly but capcom has been pretty open and honest about the game, what they want it to be etc. they showed what is coming and people who want a more complete package can wait while others who just finally want to start playing can do that now.
There is solid reasoning, those who chose to play can save in game currency to buy future DLC, while those who choose to wait will have to pay cash to get all caught up
The mechanics themselves are the best to date, but content is lacking. The following comment pretty much sums up the future potential of the game.
If you ask me, the only people that truly have/had a reason to gripe are those that bought it for multiplayer and suffered server issues day one, but with that mostly fixed its all good now. There's really no sense in complaining if you don't have it, not when Capcom said what to expect and the version you want is coming later.
