Yacht Club Games'
Shovel Knight has had one hell of a run since the game launched in 2014, which actually comes as great news for fans of the knight with the shovel.
Lately,
Shovel Knight has been invited to join
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as an assist trophy, joined Nicalis and Studio Saizensen's Blade Strangers as a fighter, will be starring in his own fighting game
Shovel Knight Showdown, and is now officially revealed to be joining the roster of free-to-play party game
Brawlhalla.
Shovel Knight will not be joining
Brawlhalla alone, though, as King Knight, Dark Knight, Plague Knight and Spectre Knight will also be following him as skins for
Shovel Knight. These skins, however, will not be just skins as they will come with their unique animations and signature effects—making each
Shovel Knight fighter feel very different from each other.
Shovel Knight is the second non-original character to join the roster of
Brawlhalla, since
earlier this month Ubisoft announced that their very own Rayman would also be joining the fight.
We still don't know much about this new addition to
Brawlhalla, but the
official Brawlhalla website states that they will be releasing more information as we get closer to the game's release date.
An eternal battle arena where the greatest warriors in history brawl to prove who’s the best that ever was, is, or will be. Every match is an epic test of skill, speed, and strength, and every victory brings additional glory and bragging rights to the winners.
Brawlhalla is available for the PlayStation 4, Windows, and macOS, and will be available for the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on the 6th of November.
