My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero is celebrating its first month of launch with a series of in-game events, new characters and a fresh new game mode! The hit-game, based upon the My Hero Academia anime and manga, has been downloaded almost 2 million times from Google Play and the iOS store since its launch on May 19th. Make sure and check out the video below highlighting the update.

Endeavour and Shota Aizawa join the My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero fighting roster with the update! Both are S rarity heroes, meaning they're among the most powerful heroes. Endeavour can be acquired by earning tickets by competing in the game's special access event. Shota Aizawa will be available beginning in July. During the special access event the exclusive hero's active card drop rate will be increased significantly and their passive card will be easily available.

More content is set to be added over time. In the coming weeks gamers and fans can look forward to a new rogue-like gameplay mode for PvE play. There is also a Group Battle mode that will be introduced with a Boss Raid, allowing players to tackle a series of bosses to reap greater rewards. There are also German and French language options on the way.

About My Hero Academia: My Hero Academia is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. It follows the story of Midoriya, a boy born without superpowers in a world where everyone else has them. Japan’s greatest hero All Might chooses this unlikely candidate as his successor and enrolls him in a prestigious academy for heroes in training. Since debuting in 2014, My Hero Academia has sold over 50 million copies globally and spawned a popular animated series by Bones, which debuted in 2016, had three feature length spin-off films, and a fifth season will premiere in 2021.
