Avalanche Studios, the Sweden-based development team behind the popular
Just Cause series, released their first official trailer for their upcoming game,
Generation Zero, a few months back at
E3 covered here, but last week they debuted a trailer featuring a first look at the gameplay and glimpses at the user interface of the game.
Generation Zero looks to be a Co-op Survival First-Person Shooter (FPS), where a player (and up to 3 of their friends) are dropped in a small town in Sweden in 1989, where on the surface it looks normal, but is left empty and barren from invading robots. Through scavenging the emptied homes and buildings, and destroying the robots, the players will begin to piece together what's happened, as well as also figure out how to save their future.
Here's a first look at some gameplay:
Generation Zero is currently slated to release in
2019 for Windows PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One. There is also an open invitation on their main website to join their
Beta testing now.
