Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be introducing the currently trending battle-royale gamemode to the long-running FPS series, and while it seemed as if it would be able to hold its own against competitors like Fortnite and Battlefield V, a new revelation may reveal that it may not be as great as it's made out to be.

Game Informer have revealed countless awesome things about Black Ops 4's upcoming "Blackout" mode, they're credible, and their recent cover story is no different. Brought to light by CharlieINTEL, Game Informer reportedly revealed that Blackout's map only takes five minutes to run from end to end.

Being from the map's furthest points, this means that crossing it from other locations might not even take five minutes. For comparison Fortnite's map takes about 10 minutes, from its furthest points, to cross - that's double Black Ops 4's! And not only that, Blackout features a plethora of vehicles (which Fortnite lacks), meaning that it could feasible take even less time on a quad-bike or in a helicopter.

As you can see below, the replies to the tweet revealed that many fans were outright put off by this revelation:

What do you think of this news? Are you still looking forward to Blackout despite its size?
