Unlike previous Treyarch titles, Call of Duty: Black Ops IV is not trying to be serious. The fact that this promising FPS doesn't have a solo campaign gave the developer a chance to put some pretty crazy shenanigans into the multiplayer. A brand new TV ad focuses on Treyarch's take on the Battle Royale subgenre titled Blackout. It's the right time to mention that the promo also features Post Malone.

Yeah, Activision has decided to advertise Black Ops IV with Malone and his specific cover of Rockstar, the artist's hit first song to reach number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. The trailer is also part of a new marketing campaign by Treyarch and Activision called simply CODNation, which is encouraging content creators to submit their best/funniest moments from the beta tests and upcoming launch.

Call of Duty: Black Ops IV will feature three Zombies campaigns (introducing four characters that travel through time to battle an evil cult, while killing the undead along the way), Blackout - Black Ops 4’s battle royale mode, and a variety of new weaponry, maps and modes in the competitive multiplayer. All of that for the price of a full game - $60. The answer whether it's worth it or not remains unanswered.

Developed by Treyarch, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 takes the top-selling series in Call of Duty to new heights. The title is tailored to the millions of Call of Duty: Black Ops fans worldwide who continue to engage and play together.

Call of Duty: Black Ops IV will be launching on October 12, 2018.
