The Latest CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS IV Gameplay Gives Us A Better Look At Treyarch's Multiplayer-Only Game

Activision tries hard to mimic the success of Rainbow Six: Siege in their latest Call of Duty, and this detailed gameplay will make you question whether or not some multiplayer modes are enough to buy BLOPS IV.

Call of Duty: Black Ops IV will be the first game in the series, since its launch in 2003 to not feature a proper solo campaign mode. Instead, Black Ops IV will offer players some solo missions for its various multiplayer Specialists. It's clear that Activision has decided to take the highly successful Rainbow Six: Siege route this time, putting the emphasis on delivering a solely multiplayer experience.

There's a big (and vocal) group of gamers that doesn't agree with this decision, as doubling-down on the multiplayer without a "traditional" solo campaign for the same price ($60) might seem like a cash grab. Call of Duty: Black Ops IV will feature three Zombies campaigns, Blackout, Black Ops 4’s battle royale mode, and a variety of new weaponry, maps and modes in the competitive multiplayer.

The WccftechTV crew recently had the chance to capture gameplay footage of the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops IV during the special community reveal event. The recorder gameplay is pretty intense and the fact that the player will have to say goodbye to the automatically recovered health makes the battles a bit more tactical. WccftechTV played on PlayStation 4 and Treyarch seemingly put the console's power to good use. Check it out down below and don't forget to press X to pay respects.

Call of Duty: Black Ops IV will be launching on October 12, 2018.
