Call of Duty: Modern Warfare received an update today, providing players with free new content in the form of two new maps and a new game mode. Sticking true to Activision's new post-launch support plan, the content is available for all plays, for free, and across all platforms at the same time.
The update adds two new maps; Shoothouse, a traditional multiplayer map, and Krovnik Farmland, a large Ground War map.
Hardpoint is a new mode in which your team must capture and hold the zone to earn points. Several times during this mode, the hardpoint will move to a different location around the map. A point is gained every second you or a team member is present within the hardpoint, with the first team hitting 250 points claiming victory.
The update also brings a new playlist, Shoot House 24/7, which includes a mixture of Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Headquarters.
In addition to new content, today's update also features bug fixes and balance changes, including nerfs to Claymores, the 725 Shotgun, and the M4A1 Assault Rifle. You can
