One of the best western games of the last generation (Gunslinger) and amazingly bad The Cartel have unexpectedly disappeared from Steam, PlayStation Store, and even Xbox Live without any explanation...

Ubisoft shut down Call of Juarez: The Cartel's servers last year and it looks like you won't be able to play not only the multiplayer mode, but even the single player campaign from now on. Last week, the game was delisted from Steam, Xbox Live, and PlayStation Store, meaning that the only way to legally buy the game is purchasing a physical copy or buying it via Uplay or Amazon. That's one bad news.

But forget about The Cartel, which still is one of the most disappointing sequels in the history of gaming after excellent Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, Gunslinger disappeared from these digital stores as well. And it's a huge shame, as the smaller in scale game was available only in the digital form.

There’s no word from developer Techland or Ubisoft regarding the matter, but delistings like this happen from time to time, usually as a result of an expired license or certificate. Thankfully, you can still buy Gunslinger on PS Store in a bundle with Far Cry: Blood Dragon. You won't regret it, trust me.

Call of Juarez Gunslinger is a Western first person shooter on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. Discover gameplay trailers, screenshots and game info. Become Silas a deadly gunslinger and fight against legends such as Billy the Kid, Jesse James.

Call of Juarez: The Cartel is the third part of the FPS series this time in modern times. It was created by Techland who are also known for Dead Island. This first-person shooter brings the lawlessness of the Old West into present day. You’ll embark on a bloody road trip from Los Angeles to Juarez, Mexico immersing yourself in a gritty plot with interesting characters and a wide variety of game play options.
