Call of Juarez: Gunslinger was released five years ago by Ubisoft as a spin-off of the main series and it looks like Techland is getting ready to announce a remaster or even a sequel of the critically acclaimed shooter. Just two days ago, Techland updated the series' Facebook page with a picture of Silas Greaves promising that "Legends Never Die," hinting at a bigger announcement down the line.
Another day, another teaser from Techland. Today, the Polish studio released a video of monologuing Silas and it's not just a video, but a message for Arthur Morgan, the main protagonist of Rockstar Games’ blockbuster also known as Red Dead Redemption 2. Both titles share a similar setting and some gameplay mechanics (the Dead Eye feature is a rip-off of Techland's version of the bullet time).
"Those legends, you know, they never die. They change and come back stronger than ever," Silas says in the video, clearly hinting at the return of Gunslinger. In April, Techland officially announced that the studio had acquired publishing rights to the Call of Juarez series from Ubisoft and it looks like the producer is ready to show the world the future of the better "Call of" series really, really soon...
