Back in May of this year, rumours started doing the rounds suggesting that Techland Games'
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger would be making its way to the Nintendo Switch; mainly because
Techland hinted at the possibility of porting their games to the handheld hybrid console.
While the information didn't specifically reveal that Techland were working on a port of
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, it was the obvious choice. It wasn't until the ESRB, as always,
unofficially revealed that the game was, indeed, coming to the Nintendo Switch — as they recently rated the game on their ratings board.
Today, Square Enix has finally, and officially confirmed that they have partnered up with Techland Games and
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is releasing for the Nintendo Switch on the
10th of December.
The Nintendo Switch version of
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger isn't just a simple port, as the developers also added new features that make this version stand out from the previously released ones; such as added motion controls and compatibility with the Joy-Con and Nintendo Switch Pro Controller's HD rumble.
With the announcement, Techland also released an action-packed, and quite gory trailer to get players excited for the games arrival on the Nintendo Switch.
