Call of Juarez: Gunslinger was released in 2013 to generally positive reviews as a smaller spin-off of the long-running main series – and also a project that has successfully managed to redeem the main
Call of Juarez development team as a whole after the release of 2011's critically panned
CoJ: The Cartel.
Although you can play it on your PS3, X360, or PC, Techland is reportedly planning to bring
Gunslinger to Nintendo Switch. According to Polish website GraczPospolita, Techland "
is always trying to listen to its fans. We know that many of them would like to see our productions on the Nintendo Switch. We decided to take up this challenge and later this year we will tell you about the surprise that awaits the player," Paweł Rohleder, Chief Technology Officer at Techland said in an interview with the website.
While the identity of that game is a mystery, GraczPospolita's Michał Król is claiming that Techland is working on a proper Nintendo Switch port of
Gunslinger – which may be announced at this year's E3.
As a reminder, Techland acquired the publishing rights to the explosive series from Ubisoft in 2018.
