In April, Techland officially announced that the studio had acquired publishing rights to the Call of Juarez series from Ubisoft. The polish developer promised that it will continue the great efforts of Ubisoft and is planning support the fans of the Call of Juarez universe in the same dutiful and passionate way and it looks like it's the right time to remind everyone about the forgotten COJ.
We all know that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be the biggest game of 2018 and Techland has seeming decided to jump on the western bandwagon as the Poland-based studio has recently updated the Call of Juarez Facebook page with a brand new artwork from Gunslinger, the main series' smaller in scale and length (and much cheaper) game that introduced us to Silas Greaves, the titular Gunslinger.
Techland recently published a photo of Silas with the “I haven’t been here in many years. Name’s Silas Greaves” quote from the critically acclaimed shooter. It's pretty clear that Techland will try to steal RDR2's thunder and announce a brand new COJ title or at least the remastered version of Gunslinger that would be launched on the current-gen consoles, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Take a look:
