Lars Bakken, the design lead for Destiny 2's PvP mode has confirmed that the sequel will see the popular Trials of Osiris change from  3-vs-3 to 4-vs-4, in keeping with the sequels broad switch to 4-vs-4 for all PVP Crucible modes.  Said Bakken, "Trials is different, I am not going to talk too much about any of the nuances of what’s different but it’s coming back and the biggest change is the 4v4 change. Well, there are other changes there too, but I believe people will be blown away when they see the trials stuff. I wish I could talk about more about it."

Just the switch from a three-man team to a four will have huge changes to how Crucible enthusiasts approach the popular PVP tournament.

The final Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris concluded for Destiny 1 this past weekend.

Destiny 2 launches on September 6 on Xbox One and PS4 and PC on October 24.
