Today, Bungie officially announced Destiny 2 through a new image seen below. At first it doesn't seem like anything is really there, but when you look closer it appears like city beneath the traveler is up in flames. It would be really cool to roam the streets of the last free city that isn't overrun by other lifeforms.

In the past few months Bungie hasn't exactly been on the gamers sides when they announced that nothing will carry over from the first Destiny game. Which means if you spent the $200 on the game and its expansions... you will have nothing to show for it. However, this is easily rectified with a new trailer and hopefully we get one soon.

The game itself is supposed to welcome old  and new players alike, but it remains to be seen how old players will react. Hopefully they do something about the daily grind that can get a bit tiresome and add some weekly content that is different from the grind for gear model that currently exists.
