Ion Fury is a retro-inspired first-person shooter game that is actually developed by 3D Realms — which is the legendary studio behind the Duke Nukem series — that originally released for PC(Steam) in August of last year, and met with nothing but critical praise.
Today, 1C Entertainment — the game's publisher — has announced that Ion Fury will also be released for home consoles, and that the critically acclaimed title will become available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox one on the 14th of May.
The good news don't stop there, as the publisher has also revealed that Ion Fury will be getting a physical release, although players will have to wait a little bit longer for their physical copies to launch, as they are scheduled to become available on the 26th of June.
With the announcement, 1C Entertainment also released an action-packed trailer — so that players get a pretty good idea of what's in store for them ocne Ion Fury finally becomes available on home consoles in just a few more weeks.
