To even queue, you need to hit specific prerequisites: Runner Level 25, all six factions unlocked through liaison contracts, and a minimum equipped loadout value of 5,000 credits (the gear's worth, not an entry fee). Meeting those requirements also grants a one-time Sponsored Kit from the Armory: a tuned blue-tier bundle designed to get new players through their first few runs without risking prized items.
The zone itself is a labyrinth aboard the derelict colony ship that left Mars in 2472 carrying 30,000 souls and never arrived. Progress resets weekly when the zone reopens, but Codex advancement carries over permanently.
