Overwatch is Activision-Blizzard's 8th property to snag the earnings of 1 billion dollars. The game is now up there with Call of Duty and Wolrd of Warcraft, other series that has netted a whole lot of dough for the respective studios. Overwatch is doing nothing but successful numbers for the studios either, as just recently it also hit the threshold of 30 million players worldwide. It's also been stated that Overwatch is Blizzard's fastest growing property.

And the number of players has just increased as time goes on, as it hit 41 million players in the first quarter of the year, with the recent Uprising event doing nothing but help add to that number. Truly, Overwatch is a juggernaut of massive proportions that isn't exactly facing anything like it at this time. So one would have to ask themselves, how long can Overwatch keep this up before it gets dethroned? And also, what game could possibly dethrone this?
