It has finally been officially confirmed that Overwatch will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. This announcement came at the very beginning of the newest Nintendo Direct presentation with a trailer for the upcoming port.

We essentially already knew this announcement was coming because of some leaks and rumours that surfaced throughout the preceding days — such as an Amazon listing for an Overwatch-themed Nintendo Switch case which was officially licensed by both Nintendo and Blizzard Entertainment (the latter being the studio responsible for the game).

And what's more; we won't have to wait very long to get our hands on the massively popular, competitive multiplayer game. According to the new and official trailer, Overwatch will be available on October 15th — that's just over a month's time from now.
